Kolkata Knight Riders picked up three players in the IPL 2012 players auction. Brendon McCullum (New Zealand), Sunil Narine (West Indies) and Marchant de Lange (South Africa) were selected at the auction and will feature for KKR in IPL-5. McCullum gives KKR a more explosive option at the top of the order, while Sunil Narine proved his bowling abilities in the 2011 Champions League. Marchant de Lange is an upcoming South African quickie who has made the world stand up and take notice with his initial performances in limited overs cricket.
